I am assuming she offers her services remotely, but I'm not certain. If you've been unable to find someone locally, perhaps she would work with your daughter remotely, if your daughter is open to working with a detransitioner. Her bio on X says: I am a detransitioner, advocate, and author fighting gender ideology and promoting healing and personal growth for young people in America. As a survivor of the trans cult who reclaimed my life, I write and speak internationally on the gender crisis, including testifying at the supreme court, starring in the Daily Wire film Identity Crisis, and publishing my upcoming book Surviving the Trans Myth: A Detransition Memoir.
I offer consultation services for detransitioners, parents, and anyone affected by gender issues in their lives. We all need someone to talk to who's been there and understands without judgment. I can help you process your situation, provide support, and brainstorm solutions that will improve your quality of life.
My values when helping others (and throughout my life) include pursuit of truth, courage, acceptance, growth, and transcendence through reflection and empowerment.

Could you please share your daughter's therapist? Or can anyone recommend therapists in Florida we can meet in person or remotely? I just activated my account (not sure if it's called a member account) today, and it seems I can't DM other members yet. If you could reply to this message, I will try to reach back. THANK YOU ALL!!! She is seeing a therapist now but his approach is to affirm the gender while they work through "why" she feels that way. I feel she needs someone that helps her understand that confusing feelings are normal and helps her learn to be comfortable with herself.Hi there, did you ever find a therapist for your child? Do you mind sharing their contact info? thanks! Hello, My 16 year-old daughter recently came out as transgender. Did you ever find a reliable non-affirming therapist? If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You, KC RE: finding reliable medical practitioners - SallyGreenwood - 20-May-2026 I was very much like to look into finding a good therapist for my son. The last one we went to check an hour trying to convince me to affirm my son. Left me in a very confused and vulnerable state. Right now I very much like to hear from a therapist who can give me the other side because I'm not sure if I'm getting the right advice. Though at the same time I know that I'm not a medical doctor myself so perhaps maybe I don't know as much as say other people You are more medical experience maybe I should trust this therapist but I'm just not sure. I live in Fort Wayne Indiana by the way. I just don't know what to do right now. Do I trust the therapist and affirm or do I get a second opinion and follow my heart. I really don't know My heart says don't do it but maybe this therapist is right I really don't know. RE: finding reliable medical practitioners - Heather - 28-May-2026 Hi Sally! Please do not affirm or trust any therapist who advises you to do so. Please check out the following organizations. Your instincts not to lie to your son and go along with this lunacy are correct. Things get dicey with older kids who are capable of getting institutions to grant them legal privacy protections from you, and of course old fashion rebellion is always a risk with some kids. Please don't lose faith in your knowledge of our own child, but also I would recommend reading some of the advice on these organizations' sites: Therapy First
