Hello all I realized I posted my intro/request for verification in the wrong area! Apologies I’m a bit rusty when it comes to forums these days. Please feel free to delete/disregard my still pending post on messages from members.
Greetings any and all reading this. I’m women in my early twenty’s who’s decided to seek a place like this out after my older brother(whom is autistic) quite suddenly come out as trans. He has shown 0 interest in feminine things as a child and as an adult, 0 feminine traits, 0 signs of being uncomfortable in his body, quite the opposite actually—so it’s safe to say this is a very new and likely heavily influenced thing. He now has an obsession with shaving his legs, and body hair in general, fixated on revealing women’s clothing and femboy+trans content on the internet. There is no doubt that autogynephilia has a large role to play in his case, and after a lot of reflection I’ve come to the realization he suffers with a particularly unhealthy fixation on me, my mannerisms, my clothes, even my feminine hygiene. I’m currently unable to get away from this situation and would really appreciate a place where people can understand what I’m going through and perhaps even give me some advice. In return I have a fair bit of insight and experience to offer others here, especially for parents. I know the type of cult that sweeps kids and vulnerable people away into its sadly harmful ideology. I’ve seen it happen, and am currently seeing it happen right in front of me again. Not only that, I was almost a victim of it myself. Being a girl who showed some tomboy traits surrounded by girls who called themselves trans, my kind but very misinformed mother started the steps to have me medically transitioned at an alarmingly young age. I am happy to be able to say that I saved myself. I hope my story might help someone out, I’d love to go into more detail on the main forum, thank you for taking the time to read.
